Shifra is the CEO and Co-Founder of AXIS Teletherapy, a leading provider of school-based online speech-language therapy, occupational therapy and mental health services. She leads AXIS’s strategic planning and execution, business development and sales, and external relations. Prior to founding AXIS, Shifra practiced as a certified Speech and Language Pathologist and observed first-hand the adverse effects of provider shortages on school districts. She is passionate about helping students with special education needs access quality related services, no matter their location. Shifra is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and lives with her husband and 6 beautiful children in New Jersey.

Lisa Hirth, M.A. CCC-SLP, a graduate of Kean University, is on a mission to make therapy services available to individuals across the nation and around the world. With over 10 years experience providing speech and language therapy to adults and children, Lisa is actualizing her clients’ dreams every day. Her experience includes working with adults with aphasia, swallowing disorders, and cognitive deficits both in inpatient and outpatient settings. She has also worked with children exhibiting a variety of disorders, including ASD (autism spectrum disorder), Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, and cognitive disorders, as well as, typically developing children with language, articulation, and social deficits.
